Stress
Stress shows itself in a range of ways. The most common form of stress is a mix of anxiety and depression. You might find that you only feel anxious or depressed but never both. But it is more common to find both around at the same time. We can add into this mix other things such as panic, anger, sleep and drink problems. Social factors and physical health must also be taken into account. These can feed each other. Put these all together and we are talking about Stress.
The Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10)
This ten item form looks at general distress. We suggest that you start with this one.
Life Inventory
This is adapted from Stress Control (written by Jim White). It lets you look at a range of factors in your life that might have an impact on stress. These are: your nature, your job, your health, relationships, money, house/neighbourhood, your behaviour, your strengths.
